Spoke Software Unveils New Custom Application for Salesforce.com

New Customforce Solution Delivers Powerful Lead Generation Functionality for Salesforce Customers

San Francisco, CA - June 21, 2005—Spoke Software and salesforce.com [NYSE:CRM], the market and technology leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), at the Summer '05 launch in San Francisco today announced a new Customforce-built application delivering Spoke's sales prospecting solution as an Sforce custom web tab. Tightly integrated with Salesforce via the Sforce on-demand platform and leveraging the Customforce tool, the Spoke custom application allows sales professionals to search the Spoke sales lead network to identify target companies and people within those companies with the titles they sell to - then immediately add those prospects as contacts or leads in Salesforce without leaving the Salesforce application.

"Spoke and Salesforce are an ideal combination for our sales prospecting and lead generation efforts," said Rob Loughan, chairman and CEO of Dexterra. "Now, with the Spoke web tab within our Salesforce instance, our inside sales team can conduct their prospecting for new accounts in a single solution, allowing them to identify more leads faster."

"Spoke's solution showcases the incredible flexibility and power of our Sforce on-demand integration platform, as well as the breadth and depth of creative applications that can be built with Customforce," said Adam Gross, director of product marketing of Sforce. "Spoke's custom application is a compelling Salesforce option for anyone seeking to boost their lead generation capabilities."

An Sforce-certified partner since July 2004, Spoke is pioneering the new category of sales lead networks. Spoke empowers sales professionals to search across nearly 30 million connected professionals at over 500,000 companies to identify prospective customers. Spoke users can then get access to their target accounts via phone, e-mail or a referral through Spoke's relationship network. Using the new Spoke web tab, users can perform searches, find prospects, and add leads directly into Salesforce via the Sforce integration.

"Our 70 plus corporate customers are overwhelmingly customers of Salesforce as well, and they want an integrated solution," said Frank Vaculin, president and CEO of Spoke. "The Sforce platform and Customforce tools provide us, as a salesforce.com partner, with an ideal environment for rapid development of customized Spoke functionality, enabling our customers to execute their entire customer acquisition process within a single solution."

Spoke's Salesforce custom web tab is available with the Spoke 2.5 release, currently in beta availability and scheduled for general availability July 11. The Salesforce custom tab is included as part of the monthly subscription for all Spoke Pro members and corporate customers. Leveraging the Customforce tool kit to architect strategic solutions, the Spoke product integration is made possible through Sforce, salesforce.com's client/service integration platform. Today, a variety of systems and platforms, including enterprise applications, desktop solutions, mobile devices and IP phone systems integrate with Salesforce and Supportforce via the Sforce Web service API, making key business information available to users from all of their favorite applications and tools.

The Sforce client/service integration platform allows solution developers to customize, integrate and extend Salesforce to create sophisticated custom CRM solutions. In contrast to traditional packaged software, Sforce allows developers to use the tools they already know and love from IBM, BEA (NASDAQ: BEAS), Borland (NASDAQ: BORL) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), and open source solutions like Perl and PHP, to build CRM integrations and applications with record speed and success. Leveraging standards and technologies from the Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Sforce continues to demonstrate how on-demand platforms are a central part of the new enterprise IT strategies. Free access to the Sforce community, as well as more information on the Sforce Developer Program, is available at http://www.sforce.com.
